The Multi-National Force – A military command during the 2003 invasion of Iraq—codenamed "Operation Iraqi Freedom"—and much of the ensuing Iraq War, led by the United States of America, United Kingdom, Australia and Poland, responsible for conducting and handling military operations.
Osama bin Laden – Founder of Al-Qaeda. Was eventually captured and killed on May 2, 2011,when the White House announced that the operation was successful and bin Laden had been killed.
Saddam Hussein – Fifth president of Iraq. Maintained his power during the Iraq-Iran War. Captured by the U.S. on December 13, 2003. He was convicted of charges related to a mass murder, and was sentenced to death by hanging. He was hanged on December 30, 2006.
Al-Qaeda – A global militant Islamist organization founded by Osama bin Laden and several others between 1988-1989. carried out many attacks on targets it considers kafir.
